Week of this past one

Hola Familia,
How is everyone? This week we have been working on finding. The sector is new and there was basically nothing in the Area Book so we are working on getting people to teach. One thing about this sector though is that the members give us food more often. There are so many people here who want to help us and I am so impressed by all they do. Sadly we are not in the normal location for computers this week and so I cannot upload pictures.
One thing cool that I did actually take pictures of was a family night we had with our one investigator and a less active family. The investigators name is Claudio and he is 12. The members were great, they have a son who is 12 and he also invited another friend and we brought Rodrigo, an active member 11years old so there was a lot of friends for Claudio. We taught the lesson of the Gospel of Jesus Christ using pancakes. Pancakes are kind of a novelty around here.
Basically this is how the lesson was, we read scriptures on the five steps of the Gospel- Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Recieving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. And as we did so we make the Bisquick pancakes. So the Bisquick mix was representative of faith, a good start but obviously not complete pancakes that anyone wants to eat. Next we added the eggs, sometimes it is difficult and we need to crack to become free of our sins. After that we added the Baptism by water, in this case milk. And the batter is now complete. But Pancakes are not ready to be eaten. Without the baptism by fire we still do not have enough to enjoy the effort. So we cooked the batter- all things are done by gas here so it literally was a fire. And then the last part is that we need to flip the pancake and endure to the end. Without this last step the pancakes would only be half cooked and no one would enjoy eating them. We must endure to the end or all the effort is in vain.
It was a pretty fun lesson and Claudio remembered all the steps the next day.
